Story and Comments.: My dad and I spotted the deer in our pasture. So we decided to put a stalk on it. The wind was in our face which was good. We had to crawl about 20 yards so that the deer couldn't see us. When I got close enough for a shot I took it. I killed the deer with my first shot from my 30.06. When I got up to the deer is when I realized that the deer was a 5x10. Pretty unusual. The deer was a mule deer. This is the biggest deer I have killed and I have killed a deer ever year since I was 14 and I am 18 now.
