Story and Comments.: I had watched a 2 1/2 y.o 10 chase a doe fawn around the woods for 40 minutes when they disappeared into heavy cover to the south of my stand. 20 minutes later, I caught a glimpse of antlers in the thicket 40 yards to the south again. I assumed it was the 10 I saw earlier heading back to his bedding area. I gave 2 grunts to lure him out to get a better look at him. As soon as he came into clear view I saw he was a shooter. I waited until he presented a broadside shot at 18 yards and introduced him to Mr. Muzzy 100 grain.
